I’m watching OUAT.

And Rumple is Rumplestiltskin, The Crocodile, the Beast, and now he’s Mickey fucking Mouse playing with the Sorcerer’s Hat and magic fucking brooms. Jfc.

As with any job, I have to deal with people I’d rather not.

So I’m on the phone with one of our customer’s family members and I usually tune this woman out while she babbles away (partly because it’s really not my job to deal with her, but mostly because the absolute craziest shit comes out of her mouth) so I was just giving her the necessary ‘yep, mhmm, no’ every 15 or so seconds, when she starts talking about prenatal vitamins and how she hopes she can see my ‘beautiful baby when it comes into the world’ and I’m like what the fuck is this woman talking about?!
And she just keeps babbling away about how I need to eat good foods for my non-existent baby and I’m really creeped out now because this woman is convinced I’m pregnant and while I’m like 99.99999999999% sure that I’m not I feel like I should go buy a test because what if she’s can like sense this shit (or maybe she’s just crazy, which is probably the more likely, but better safe than sorry)

And yes I’ve told her like four times I’m not having any children at the present or anytime soon for that matter and she’s literally ignoring me and continuing on with her babbling.

Deadpool Annual (2014) #2

I am literally just sitting here with my mouth hanging open.

Deadpool:

1) is capable of human relationships, be they romantic, platonic, or anywhere in between.

2) considers Spiderman his friend, even if Peter’s a little leery on the subject.

3) Would kill for his friends. Has killed for his friends.

4) Is awesome.

ok but seriously

Harley is a gift from God.

This is why Harley is like my all time favorite!

Why did they leave out the best part of this scene?;

The character development of Harley is probably one of the better things DC has done with their characters.

In Bay Village, Ohio, a group of high school students tricked their 14-year-old autistic classmate into doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Instead of filling the bucket with ice water they filled it with feces, urine, spit and cigarette butts and dumped the bucket from a roof onto the special needs teen.

This is a horrific act of degradation and violence.  It is so harmful and hurtful to that young man and his family and also to the people who know about this.  Not only did this group of people damage such a wonderful fundraiser, but they exploited it and this young man past the point of redemption.

This was so premeditated, that it is sickening.

Thankfully, through the internet and social media, we can make others aware of this heinous crime, and hopefully put a stop to any (if not all) of these atrocities that are happening in our back yards to our family, friends and neighbors. But more importantly put a stop to and defend those who cannot defend themselves.

These criminals have hit the heart of all that we hold dear.  Disabled children are often picked on and bullied.  But these people obviously set this young man up for something that not only could make him extremely ill, but has also humiliated humanity and those who just want to help.

I work with special needs individuals. It’s a 24 hour care company. I work a thirty-two hour shift from Sunday morning to Monday evening each week. I also work a second twenty-four hour shift from Thursday evening to Friday evening. That does not include any overtime, and I usually try to pull at least three other days of overtime. Why? My mother worked at the same company since I was four years old. I’m eighteen now. I’ve been there my whole life. The people we care for live in homes in the community just like you and I. I can remember going to see my mom at work because she would pull over 100 hours per week. And I fell in love with the individuals in the company. I loved them. And I’ve never stopped. There are bad times, there are downers, there are stressful days, but I love my job. It is so rewarding and I love these people. They are my family. One woman was the dearest person to my heart. And when she passed away last year I was in the hospital the day before, telling her that she had to wake up so we could fix her hair and paint her fingernails. My heart broke when she did not wake up. Since I was four I’ve been at the homes or the day-center they attend every week when I could, sometimes every afternoon. They are sweet and loving and the happiest people. And they just want love and affection and security. Remembering their birthday and telling them so makes them happier than any presents. Promising them you’ll accompany them to a movie (and no, it’s not on the clock, it’s going out with them on your own time to enjoy your time with them) makes them so ecstatic. And I can just think..this could have been one of the people I work with each day. This could have been one of the people who I’ve grown up adoring, and then had the honor of working with them after I turned eighteen. And that breaks my heart. The high schoolers who did this deserve to be thrown in jail to rot. They are not human beings. They are monsters. I don’t care what sport career will be ruined by their prosecution. I don’t care what happens to them in prison. They deserve what they get. I’m disgusted and I just can’t believe someone, anyone with a heart, would do something like this. They aren’t a job or an obligation, they’re my heart and my life. I know I’m going to be doing the same work in twenty, thirty, hell even fifty years from now. And I wouldn’t change that. And I hope this boy recovers. I hope he is surrounded by support and people who love him, enough to ease the pain he has to be feeling, because it definitely won’t be erased. He is scarred and he will remember, but perhaps he can heal from it. So please sign.
